When require_once()ing a file with the provided code in a function, the PHP parser crashes, and the browser is forced to return a connection reset error.
If, however, you remove the "&" from the "=&new", it works fine.
(Yes, I know that sort of coding is deprecated; I was converting code to PHP5 when the error appeared.)
(PHP5 CLI Apache2)

Reproduce code:

$this->trackbacks_handler=&new trackback_handler(&$db_connection,&$login_connection,&$mail_connection,'blog');

Expected result:
----------------
My blog.

Actual result:
--------------
A Firefox (or IE, or any other browser) connection reset error page.

Thank you for this bug report. To properly diagnose the problem, we
need a short but complete example script to be able to reproduce
this bug ourselves. 

A proper reproducing script starts with <?php and ends with ?>,
is max. 10-20 lines long and does not require any external 
resources such as databases, etc.

If possible, make the script source available online and provide
an URL to it here. Try to avoid embedding huge scripts into the report.
