when using mail() in linux all mail to aol accounts are not delivered because of some spam block that they have over there. My guess is that that block is not set right.

If the problem is a result of some blocking enabled at the Aol end, it is not a php bug. If you find this not to be the case, this bug report can be reopened. In the meantime, you should consult with Aol regarding the block.
