Description:
------------
The included simple code causes a segmentation fault.
The fault occurs during the mysql_connect.

My MySQL database works fine. PHP is compiled with MySQL support. This segfault occurs both at the commandline and when my homemade webserver invokes php using the system() call.

Reproduce code:
---------------
<html><body>
foo
<table><tr>
<?
mysql_connect(localhost,"myuser","mypass");
# other stuff here
?>
</table>
<hr>
HTML that never appears in the result.
</html>

Expected result:
----------------
Not a segfault.

Actual result:
--------------
foo
