Description:
------------
For a secure SMTP-relay it would be a great help if EHLO with a user ID and a password in php.ini for the PHP mail()function would be provided.

I know there are work arounds possible, but that only works if you write your own PHP-code.

When you are using another programm, which is based on PHP this workarounds does not help, in my opinion.

There are so many good quality solutions to this in the wild that we would be foolish to try and implement this internally.

It's been a long time, but I'm going to mark as won't fix.

This report can still be found by any future researcher, sorry about the wait.
