Description:
------------
Feature request.

There is output_add_rewrite_var() function in PHP, but its functional is not often enough in real situations. Usually we want not only to add some parameters to all page URLs, bug also modify URLs themselves (at all) or collect data about it.

I know there are internal API for URL rewriting in ext\standard\url_scanner*. Please tell, have you plan to carry out this API to PHP standard functions level in future releases?

Apparently not.

PHP frameworks are much more common and advanced than they were 14 years ago. They tend to handle this sort of work already.
