Syntax error on line 207 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/libphp3.so into server: /usr/lib/apache/libphp3.so:
undefined symbol: SQLParamData
/usr/sbin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started

it happens with a minimum of configure options like that
have the same behavior after trying out a very short version of php-configure
like that :

./configure --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-mysql

apache configure I have tried also with a very short optiion-list :

We are sorry, but can not support PHP 3 related problems anymore.
Momentum is gathering for PHP 5, and we think supporting PHP 3 will
lead to a waste of resources which we want to put into getting PHP 5
ready. Ofcourse PHP 4 will will continue to be supported for the
forseeable future.
