Don't put spaces there. The PHP parser is somewhat strict.

ok, i expect something like your comment, but you will agree that if nothing works with spaces after the $this-> then this is a feature, but if only php keywords does throw an error, this is a bug or something that can be expected but doesn't work. I think for the complitnes of the syntax rules it will be better to make it work.
