Description:
------------
I just spent an hour fixing a problem and submitting a fix to a closed bug..

Just to find out that it was already filed, but closed the moment I submitted.

Really nasty.

Could you make the default All?

Probably I haven't understood something. Making "All" a default choice will introduce even more confusing situations, as it will list bunch of bugs, which are already fixed. The problem in your situation was the bug status, not the search engine.

If I've got you wrong, please let me know (yes, I'm aware that this bug report is ten years old - just saying).
