when i write a php script like
<?php
 echo "This prints a newline\nagain a new line\tnow a tab";
?>
when i save this file as abc.php and ope it in mozilla or Konqueror the output is

This prints a newlineagain a new linenow a tab

It simply bypasses all escape characters like \t or \n


Expected result:
----------------
