i wrote <html>

          <title>hello</title>

echo"hello world\n"

</p>
</body>
</html>
and saved it as first.php
and excuted in intenet explorer but it is not excuting,WHY?

Expected result:
----------------
Hello world

Actual result:
--------------
its source code from notepad is coming.
nothing is excuting
but file is being saved as first.php.txt

You need to save it as .php and .php.txt. Read the docs of your system/editor.
