httpd begins using all the cpu-time without doing anything. PHP is compiled in apache and I had no problem the 3 Weeks before (running php3 - but with an other apache...)
maybe it is a problem in the PHP-Mysql interface - this is the only thing it is used to: doing Database-querys to mysql - but there was no error-message and no server-shutdown, so I dont know exactly what happened and which time...
The only changes on the installation-files (apart from the directories) where the timelimit in php.ini (=60sec) and the mysql-part:
[MySQL]
mysql.allow_persistent = On ; allow or prevent persistent link
mysql.max_persistent = 100 ; maximum number of persistent links. -1 means no limit
mysql.max_links         =       150     ; maximum number of links (persistent+non persistent).  -1 means no limit

Everything else should be standard (just like the description in INSTALL....)
