The configure code that tests for pdflib fails because of a type conflict and library name chage. A program which compiles with no errors is included below.

This bug is against PHP4.0b2.

int main()
{
	PDF *p;
	p = PDF_new();
	PDF_open_file(p, "pdftestfile");
	PDF_begin_page(p, a4_width, a4_height);
	PDF_end_page(p);
	PDF_close(p);
	PDF_delete(p);
	return 0;
}

  Compile with "gcc -ltiff -lpdf2.01 -o temp temp.c" Note
that the library name is no longer libpdf.so, but libpdf2.01.so

Current PHP 4 CVS works fine against pdflib 3.0.1 (try a snapshot from http://snaps.php.net)
