if i use an external gdlibrary, because compiling with t1lib fails, php won't compile.

i described everything here:

my meaning is that php 4.3.3 is incompatible with an external gdlib, and wont compile with bundled gdlib and t1lib.

i do report this 'bug' the second time, because my last report was set to bogus, ........why? what did i wrong? i got no responses in the list or from some of the developers.

We only support building with the bundled GD library which has couple of bug fixes compared to the 'original' GD library.
And this one is included. Please report this to the GD author.

And FYI: I can compile PHP with bundled GD and T1lib just fine.
