The function imap_8bit() does not encode spaces. Spaces shuold be replaced by "_" in an quoted printable-encoded string.

this is not true for qouted-printable encoded
text (see RFC2045, section 6.7)

it would be true for encoding 'Q' in
RFC2047 encoded header fields, but this
is a different story
