The entities are not properly used on the master index, this is a known bug (and listed on the edition's page). It is true, that only   is mentioned there, but » is bogus for the same reason... All the other pages should be fine. After recompiling countless times to fix different errors, I had no nerve to recompile the stuff again (takes a long time) just to fix those entities. This will be fixed in the next build.
