I'm an AU user with Proxy IP 203.26.245.212 ... If I attempt to hit http://www.php.net/search.php?pattern=in_array&show=manual&submit=Search .. I get redirected to the google search results page..

Is this correct or am I right to expect to go straight to the in_array page of my local php.net mirror?

I cannot reproduce your problem, php.net/in_array works perfectly for me. Also au.php.net/in_array works, and the same for au2...

The URL you pasted is a manual search, and it is redirected to Google as with the wholesite search. If you would like to search in the function list, use the "quickref" selector (in the show param).
