In the Table of Contents on http://pear.php.net/manual/en/core.pear.pear-error.php there are two links to the documentation of PEAR_Error::getCode() but only one of them actually refers to that documentation.
The second link refers to PEAR_Error::getType(), and is also placed where PEAR_Error::getType() should be in the alphabetical order...

This has been fixed in CVS and will show up when the pear manual is next built, thanks for the report :)
