I installed php 4.3.1 on my machine and registerd php.exe in IIS. All my scripts works fine except that I cant get values from form-fields. The examples I have seen says that if I f ex have a textfield named userid, I should be able to get what's typed in by typing something like "if ($userid != "") {...}". However the variables are always empty. Am I doing somthing wrong or is this a bug ?

Regards

Dan Granroth

In PHP 4.2.0, the 'register_globals' setting default changed to
'off'. See http://www.php.net/release_4_2_0.php for more info.
We are sorry about the inconvenience, but this change was a necessary
part of our efforts to make PHP scripting more secure and portable.
