the configure script on lines 15388 and 15390 contain if and fi, these lines caused me to get the message that Openssl Libraries could not be found. As soon as I removed the faulty fi and if lines, it configured and compiled, and installed correctly. I found this by looking at the configure script for version 4.2.3 which i had no problems configuring, compiling ot installing.

thanks,
 -sam
