$pear install SOAP

downloading http://pear.php.net/get/SOAP ...
...done: 49,720 bytes

Dependencies failed

I expected it to install like other modules did...

Actually running PHP 4.2.3 debian package, and not allowed to install otherwise (company policy *grumble*)... would this be an issue?

It works ok here with 4.3.1 on Debian, are you using the standard pear command from the package, or have you installed the version from go-pear.org?

Using the standard php4-pear package... should I try the one from go-pear.org?

The last release of soap 0.7.2 should have fixed this issue.

Closing.
