In a script like this:

if (expr1):
 <dothings1>
elseif (expr2):
 <dothings2>
elseif (expr3):
 <dothings3>
elseif ($a = my_procedure(does some mysql things)):
 <dothings4>
endif;

my_procedure is executed even if expr3 is true
(but dothings3 is done and not dothings 4 as expected).
