I know, this is a rather small bug, but nevertheless php should go with W3C's specifications imho.

I compiled php as Apache 2 module.
When calling my phpinfo() script, the generated HTML code contains the following line:

<h2><a name="module_Apache 2.0">Apache 2.0</a></h2>

W3C's HTML validator bothers about this line and says, 'value of attribute "name" must be a single token'.
As far as I can see, the problem is the whitespace between "module_Apache" and "2.0".

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a PHP problem, snapshots of the sources are packaged
every three hours; this change will be in the next snapshot. You can
grab the snapshot at http://snaps.php.net/.
 
In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at
http://www.php.net/manual/.

In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show
up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites in short time.
