In the current LDAP.php, in function _connect(), an anonymous bind is requested immediatly after ldap_connect.

Windows 2000 AD does not yield any result for ldap_search if the bind has been done anonymously.

This requires a slight change in the logic of the user authentification.

Let me know if I can help.

Best regards,

Peter Hopfgartner

Can you please try the latest version of LDAP.php from http://cvs.php.net/co.php/pear/Auth/Container/LDAP.php?login=2&r=1.13? There have been some changes to the container recently, which might have fixed your problem.
