When you try to use dbmopen yo can't because
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: dbmopen()"
But DBM support is compiled as shown in phpinfo
DataBase API
V1 ($Id: dba.c,v 1.4 1999/08/02 19:16:40 zeev Exp $) gdbm ndbm
