/*******
Just noticed that since upgrading to 4.3.0 the mysql_stat() function does not seem to work anymore. It did work previously with 4.2.3, log files show php reporting it as an undefined function now. Online documentation shows the function to be available in 4.3.0.

$mysql_link = mysql_connect("mysql_host", "mysql_user", "mysql_password");

$status = explode('  ', mysql_stat($mysql_link));

print_r($status);

Oh yeah, also relevant MySQL 3.23.54a.

Please try using this CVS snapshot:

  http://snaps.php.net/php4-STABLE-latest.tar.gz

For Windows:

  http://snaps.php.net/win32/php4-win32-STABLE-latest.zip

But I really think you're doing something wrong since
it exists always since you use the bundled mysql libs..

No feedback was provided. The bug is being suspended because
we assume that you are no longer experiencing the problem.
If this is not the case and you are able to provide the
information that was requested earlier, please do so and
change the status of the bug back to "Open". Thank you.

Have rebuilt PHP (same source as I reported the bug from) and no longer experience the problem. Thank you for your time and effort.

"Open" would only be relevant if you were still experiencing the problem.
