Hello,

I've seen a bugreport (Bug #21340 numerics can overflow php 
numeric datatypes ) and I have experienced it too with 
postgreSQL.

Database IDs (varchar(24)) are interpreted as numbers, and 
lose information. f.e.: 

200201010000000000000000 is equal to 200201010000000000000001 

(!!!!) The patches I've found were bad, they didn't help.

Values from a field larger than PHP's numerc types should
be reported as srtings, not as numerics!
