I submit data using form ...

<input type='text' name='myname'>
<input type='submit'>
</form>

..in page2.php I have

<?
echo "My name is ".$_POST['myname']."<br>";
?>

.. I submit myname as 'Jack' .. I get this..

My name is Jackmyname=Jack

My PHP came and installed with Linux Red Hat 8.

This is probably caused by a bug in older versions of PHP in combination with Apache 2. Please upgrade to the latest version of PHP and Apache 2.

I have a version of the CVS (11/01 02:30).
No changes, it doesn't work fine.

With PHP 4.3.0, same problem.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing
bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments
to the existing bug instead.
