virtual() changes current working directory.

Apache 1.3.26 + PHP 4.2.2

To replicate:
echo getcwd();    // prints "/home/"
echo getcwd();    // prints "/home/"

Expected Behavior:
The second getcwd call should still report "/home/" as the current directory.

Cannot replicate in 4.3.0-dev.
