I have downloaded the "one big html file" version of the documentation from TWO mirrors and get following error when trying to bunzip2 it (the files from the mirrors are identical in binary comparison)

# bunzip2 /usr/dload/php_manual_en.html.bz2

bunzip2: Data integrity error when decompressing.
        Input file = /usr/dload/php_manual_en.html.bz2, output file = /usr/dload/php_manual_en.html

Works fine for me. Probably network problems or problems with your browser.

Funny... the third mirror and the same problems.

I wonder if the file is correct or do I have a problem with my bzip2? Could anyone please have a look at the checksum? Mine is:

md5sum php_manual_en.html.bz2
11a06229ac198fa77b81288c5d31f9e5 php_manual_en.html.bz2
 [2002-08-27 15:35 UTC] tal@php.net
[tal@rs1 manual]$ md5sum php_manual_en.html.bz2
508794ed5c78b684296da75b5b04f593 php_manual_en.html.bz2
but it might because of a newer version, so try downloading the latest and check the md5sum.

Well, well, I downloaded mine one minute before I sent the message so I should have the newest. Very strange indeed.

I have never had any problems with download before. Now it seems that I have had three faulty (exactly identical) copies of the same file. I am using a different browser this time, downloading it the fourth time today.

Well.. let's see...
# md5sum php_manual_en_html_ns.bz2
508794ed5c78b684296da75b5b04f593 php_manual_en_html_ns.bz2

And the b2unzipping works, everything is just fine.

It was IE version 6.0 that broke the file. Incredible.

Thanks all
