PHP version 4.2.2(CGI)
IIS 5.0

My includes do not seem to be working with UNC
When I use Absolute paths or relative Paths(../,./)

<?
if (file_exists("\\S1\Share\phptest\f1\include.php") ){
  echo "Exists<BR>";
} else {
  echo "Does not Exist<BR>";
}
// Find file So access is not a problem

include ("\\S1\Share\phptest\f1\include.php");
//this fails

include ("\\S1\Share\phptest\f1\include.php");
include ("../f1/include.php");
//this fails

include ("f1/include.php");
//this works

?>

sorry
include ("../f1/include.php");
should be
include ("../phptest/f1/include.php");

I am also having this problem I reported it a while back and it was tagged as a srcipt engine problem. I have recently installed 4.2.3 on Win2k IIS5 and the problem persists.

I can include files from within the running dir or under but not ../

Sorry see bug 18443 for more info

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing
bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments
to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.
