hi,
it would be nice if you could also offer tar.bz2 or/and tar.gz packages of the (main) windows releases of PHP. Currently "only" .zip is offered, but better compression would help anyone :-)

Most windows users are not acquinted with .tar.gz or .tar.bz2, so .zip is just fine.

hi,

the manual builds are only provided as bz2 and I know the discussion about :-(. It was decided also to provide tar.gz with the argument, that most windows users can handle .tar.gz (common tools like winzip, et.al).
Therefore it would be nice to provide the binary builds as .zip and tar.gz

Windows users expect zip files or msi's. We already have lots of options for PHP d/ls which is already confusing enough.
