When using the --with-bz2=shared option, everything compiles like a charm, but the module seems to be broken. All the other modules loads OK (have not tested all). Here follows the warning from PHP when loading the module:

[10-Jul-2002 23:54:47] PHP Warning:  Invalid library (maybe not a PHP library) ''  in Unknown on line 0

Details about the system:
Redhat 7.2 (with all updates)
Apache 1.3.26
PHP 4.2.1
bzip2 1.0.1
