./configure --with-sybase=/usr/local/sybase --with-gd 
--with-imap --with-zlib --enable-debug --with-mysql 
--with-gd --with-freetype --with-pcre-regex --with-pdflib   
--with-xml 

If I do not specify --with-shared-apache=no, I get

ERROR: --with-shared-apache is not supported.
       Please read INSTALL.DSO for instructions on using APXS.

It seems it should be ok to leave this null...
