When proceeding to use the './configure' command and include the 2 options, '--with-iodbc' and '--with-ibm-db2'. The configure only configure the IBM DB2 and does not do anything with the iODBC. So, when compiling the PHP, it only include the IBM DB2 and that's it. It doesn't include the iODBC.

Here's the configure command I use

--clip begin--
./configure
  --with-apache=../apache_1.3.20
  --with-ibm-db2=/usr/lpp/db2_06_01
  --with-iodbc=/usr/local/odbcsdk
  --with-openssl=../openssl-0.9.6b
  --with-mcrypt=../libmcrypt-2.4.15
  --without-mysql
  --with-config-file-path=/etc
  --enable-track-vars
--clip end--

Here's the copy of hte environment variable as result of the export command by typing in "export" and pressing enter.

Thank you for using PHP.
--clip end--

I tried delete the config.cache file and tried again. Doesn't work. I tried the configure command without using the "--with-ibm-db2" option and it can see the iODBC. I tried it again with this option and it can not see the iODBC. Thanks!

Please include the part of config.log which might
show why iodbc check fails.

You can't use iodbc and ibm-db2 (or any other uodbc combination) together.
Just use iodbc and db2 as driver for iodbc.

It's your LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
Modify it to indclude the libpath stuff after the db2 ld_library_path stuff.

Yes you can use both the "--iodbc" and "--with-ibm-db2" option when configuring. Other PHP users told me they had it configure and compiled without a problem.

For now, I'm not going to reconfigure and test it 'cause I'm out of time with it and is moving on with the other projects.

One of you mentioned about the libpath and ld_library_path. Last time I remembered, I just include the full path in both the ld_library_path and libpath to see if whether it work or not. So far, it doesn't!

Sorry, I cannot help you all any further.
