When building 'bz2' modules as loadable extention libbz2 symbols remain undefined in PHPs '' module. Also doesn't appear as a dependant libary when 'ldd' is run on the resultant PHP '' module.

This patch seems to cause the build process to include a private copy of the system libbz2.a into the PHP '' modules, leaving no undefined symbols.
