crypt does not work on OpenBSD 2.7

checking for crypt.h... (cached) no
checking for crypt in -lcrypt... (cached) no
checking for mcrypt support... no
checking for standard DES crypt... (cached) yes
checking for extended DES crypt... (cached) yes
checking for MD5 crypt... (cached) yes
checking for Blowfish crypt... (cached) yes

$crypted = crypt("mot","021211232211"); 
print "$crypted";

This script returs an error :
Warning: crypt() is not supported in this PHP build in /home/fred/crypt.php on line 2

This works in php-4.0.4pl1
