as described in bug 11638 gd_io.h from the gd-1.8.4 src tree has an icompatible type compared to gd.c in the php.4.0.6 tree

the reference to php.4.0.6.rc3 in ~andi does not lead to a succesfull download

the cvs server access as described in the cvs instruction does not lead to a succesfull login or checkout

This is fixed in PHP 4.0.6. (which is released already)
