When stopping Apache service with module php4apache.dll loaded, an application error appears (The instruction at "0x00c599ea" referenced memory at 0x0. The memory could not be "written").
When used php.exe instead of php4apache.dll, no problem occurs.

this looks like the error in Apache where the modules (mod_php, mod_perl, etc.) weren't given enough time to cleanup). this should be fixed in 1.3.19 or 1.3.20, don't remember. 

I'm closing this report, if the error'll keep bugging you 
when 1.3.20 is out, reopen it.
