When I try to issue an "apachtrl stop" after I compile the php4 module (4.0.6-dev), apache (I've tried both the prefork and perchild mpm) fails to kill all it's processes and I have to do a killall -9. While the server is up and running, it seems to serve php pages fine.

If I comment out the php module, I can stop apache normally.

Here's my php configure line:
./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --with-imap --with-kerberos --with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl --with-imap-ssl --without-pear

And here's my apache configure line:
./configure --with-mpm=perchild --enable-so --disable-dav --disable-dav-fs --enable-unique-id

Regards,
Mark
