When I tried to use ImageCreate and other GD functions in PHP, it happend to be not functioning correct: ImageCreate
failed to return image descriptor, instead it returned
undefined value. How can I fix this problem?

When I tried to use ImageCreate and other GD functions in PHP, it happend to be not
functioning correct: ImageCreate
failed to return image descriptor, instead it returned
undefined value. How can I fix this problem?

For Example:

<?php

  Header("Content-type: image/gif");
  $string=implode($argv," ");
  $im = imagecreatefromgif("images/button1.gif");
  $orange = ImageColorAllocate($im, 220, 210, 60);
  $px = (imagesx($im)-7.5*strlen($string))/2;
  ImageString($im,3,$px,9,$string,$orange);
  ImageGif($im);
  ImageDestroy($im);

?>

This example doesn't generate an image. I don't know why

Please reply my letter as soon as you can.

1. Which version of GD library do you have?
2. Does some other image type work? Like png?
3. Please try also with the latest CVS build from http://www.php4win.de
