I have a form that has a textbox which is being submitted to a php script(name="atextbox"). If I entered a string with a '<' sign, then everything after that sign is not in the variable "$atextbox". It works when you have a space before and after "<", but when you have something like "Jim<Jimzy@email.com>" everything after the "<" is missing.

Please tell me if there's a fix for this problem, or if it is infact a bug.

Thanks

This is incorrect, PHP simply does not behave like this.
It might be appearing to behave like this in case you're
looking at the output via a browser; In HTML, you wouldn't
see Jim<Jimzy@email.com> properly, you'd have to have
Jim&ltJimzy@email.com&gt instead.
