When executing the script with PHP CGI 7.2 and the flag "-q" it will generate one warning. When not using thr flag it works as expected.
Test script:

session_start();
Expected result:

no warning nor errors.
Actual result:

if you provider is using cgi-fcgi instead of /usr/bin/php for cronjobs he is a fool becaus ethat breaks the usual way such code looks like if(PHP_SAPI !== 'cli') { session_start(); }
