Description: ------------ Dear reader, first time i am reporting a "bug" somewhere... Not this much sure this is a bug of course. I am using the opencsw php_5.3.10 package on Solaris 10. I'd like to add the PECL UUID extension (not provided by opencsw community). I tried to use uuid-1.0.2 but got some compilation errors. Due to urgency i therefore tried to install the uuid-1.0.1 instead...which compiles and installs smoothly : root@myhost> /opt/csw/bin/pecl install uuid-1.0.1 downloading uuid-1.0.1.tgz ... link against installed libraries in a given directory, LIBDIR, you must either use libtool, and specify the full pathname of the library, or use the `-LLIBDIR' flag during linking and do at least one of the following: - add LIBDIR to the `LD_LIBRARY_PATH' environment variable during execution - use the `-RLIBDIR' linker flag See any operating system documentation about shared libraries for more information, such as the ld(1) and ld.so(8) manual pages. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Build complete.
