var_dump(filter_var("-@a.-", FILTER_VALIDATE_EMAIL));

Expected result:
----------------
bool(false)

Actual result:
--------------

Maybe already fixed while fixing bug #48718.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
