I configured php4 in both Apache (1.3.12) module mode and cgi mode. The module mode works fine (as php script in HTML), but in cgi mode keep getting 'Internal Server Error' in the browser. And 'Premature end of header' in the Apache error log.

When I ran the php cgi in command prompt, it is ok. And perl cgi works fine in the same directory using the same file owner and file permission. Hence, nothing wrong with Apache configuration to run cgi.

The same problem occurred in RC01 as well.

Any clue ?

Thanks,

Tony Tang.
