<? if($REQUEST_METHOD=="POST") { print($REMOTE_USER); } print($REMOTE_USER); print("<FORM ACTION='./essai.phtml' METHOD='POST' ENCTYPE='x-www-form-urlencoded'>"); print("<input type=TEXT name=TEXT size=50><br>"); print("<input type=submit name=Submit value='clic !'></font>"); ?> if I run this in a protected (.htaccess) dir, as it is, I loose $REMOTE_USER once I have filled and clicked.
