The hosting companies list at hosts.php.net is not rechable any longer. Has it been discontinued? If so, why?

It was one of the (the only) usable list of it's kind, if oyu ask me. Would be sad to see it gone forever!

it has been discontinued. it was not being maintained, and is really outside the scope of the project. there are links to other hosting lists at http://php.net/links
