Does this problem persist with PHP 4.0.5?
 [2001-05-13 10:32 UTC] graf at vip dot ru
This problem persists in php 4.0.5

Seems the problem in CygWin package
because the same error appears when MySQL starts.

Not a bug in PHP -> Closed.

CygWin is a part of PHP, so it IS php bug.
==> Open.

closing

Cygwin is not a part of PHP, so closing.

Soory me,
maybe this error is NOT in CygWin.

That error in PHP module php4ts.dll
so ==> Status is Open.

Closed must be only after that error disapears
from run-time modules php4xxxx...

Sorry.
