It also fails under Linux. Gd library is gd-1.8.3. PHP
versi?n is 4.0.3pl1. Options are:

./configure --with-apxs --with-mysql --with-gd

I deleted function

int gdImageColorResolve(gdImagePtr im, int r, int g, int b)

from php-4.0.3pl1/ext/gd/gd.c (line 306) and now it compiles
normaly.

The function is duplicated. An exact copy comes in library
gd-1.8.3/gd.c on line 317.

One report is enough..

You have some old GD library (and/or header files) in your system.
Specify the path of the install directory of GD library in --with-gd.
e.g. --with-gd=/usr/local

Or remove all GD library files from your system and reconfigure/recompile both GD and PHP. Remember to delete config.cache before configure!!
