After downloading, compiling and installing https://www.php.net/distributions/php-7.3.23.tar.bz2 , phpinfo() still claims the version to be 7.3.22.

Also the release date on the download page is still '03 Sep 2020'.

Sorry, seems i confused some files here updating several servers at the same time... ;-(

By the way, the release date was actually wrong; this has been
fixed in the repo, so the Website will update soon.
